Deepika Padukone confirms ‘Chhapaak’ to start shooting in March

Deepika Padukone is gearing up for her role as acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal in her biopic ‘Chhapaak’, which begins shooting in March.

Padukone shared the news on the Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards red carpet, “Right now I can’t say anything. I can just say that we’ve already started prep since yesterday and we start filming next month. That’s all I can reveal.”, Asian Age reported.

Directed by Meghna Gulzar, ‘Chhapaak’ also stars Vikrant Massey as the male lead. Gulzar marked the beginning of the film’s prep by sharing a photo on Instagram.
