Deepika Padukone confirms being approached for Sriram Raghavan’s next

BizAsia has reported a number of times that Sriram Raghavan was keen on casting Deepika Padukone in his forthcoming film. Now, the actress has indeed confirmed as much.

“I have been in talks with Sriram about that film. I have just been approached for it, but I haven�۪t signed it yet,” said Padukone, according to DNA India.

The film is based on a novel called ‘The Accidental Apprentice’. Padukone, however, says she’s not read the book, “Sriram is getting his script in place. He has not asked me to read the book. Once he finishes scripting, we will sit for a narration and then I will decide. As of now, I have been approached for a few films, but I haven�۪t signed anything yet”.

The actress is gearing up for the release of ‘Tamasha’ on Friday.
