“Deepika Padukone always makes me look good” says Ranveer Singh

Actor Ranveer Singh has never felt shy talking about his relationship with his ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’ (2013) co-star Deepika Padukone and once again the actor is heard singing praises of his alleged flame.

The actor, who is busy promoting ‘Kill Dil’, said that Padukone is one of the finest female actors we have. The actor told IANS, “Ram Leela was that intense classic love story. For me it’s amazing because I feel she’s one of the finest female actors we have. I started observing and noticing the leaps she started making as a performer right from Love Aaj Kal and Lafangey Parindey which people didn’t notice but she was amazing in. She was awesome in Break Ke Baad as well. It’s just that Cocktail became a huge hit so people started noticing her acting chops from there on,”

“If you see the films she’s done, she’s outstanding��_Like Finding Fanny, I think she should go international now and work with the likes of Woody Allen and people who justify what she brings to the table. For me what works is the fact that I have such a strong co-actor and she always makes me look good. My performance will always be better because of her and am really excited to work with her in Bajirao Mastani because there is so much for us to do,” Singh added.

Further when asked if his pairing will also be able to create the same magic like his pairing with Padukone did in ‘Ram-Leela’, Singh said, “I think when I was doing back-to-back films with Anushka, people had loved that pairing. I keep a close eye on what the audience thinks. I like to get as much feedback, so I knew that Anushka and I were seen as a special pairing. Parineeti and my pairing is one that people are looking forward to, but yes Deepika and me are a special pairing. I think it had a lot to do with the way Mr Bhansali directed us, and also Deepika and my energies are different, our approach to acting is different, so the stage is set for there to be amazing chemistry.”

It is not for the first time that Singh has talked about his rumored lady love Padukone so openly. Earlier, also many reports have surfaced suggesting Singh appreciating his alleged girlfriend.

Since Singh and Padukone have done ‘Ram-Leela’, the two always hogged limelight for their chemistry. In fact, many a times the two have been spotted hanging out together.
