Deepika cancels Paris Fashion Week appearance due to coronavirus

Deepika Padukone’s appearance at this year’s Paris Fashion Week has been cancelled due to the recent coronavirus outbreak. She was initially invited by Louis Vuitton to attend the event.

An official spokesperson for Padukone released a statement saying, “Deepika Padukone was scheduled to travel to France to attend Louis Vuitton`s FW2020 show at the ongoing Paris Fashion Week but has had to cancel her trip with news coming in that the coronavirus epidemic has now entered a new stage in France.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, the star will next be seen in ”83′ as Romi Dev, reports DNA India.The movie follows Kapil Dev’s captaincy in leading the Indian cricket team to defeat the West Indies in the World Cup final in 1983. Ranveer Singh will play Dev with the movie directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Reliance Entertainment.

Padukone will also be seen in the official Hindi remake of the Rober De Niro and Anne Hathaway hit movie, ‘The Intern,’ alongside Rishi Kapoor for a 2021 release. She will also be co-producing and starring in the upcoming mythological film, ‘Draupadi.’
