Rupali Ganguly joins Kkavyanjali
Rupali Ganguly has signed on the dotted line to join STAR Plus’ Kkavyanjali. As Gayatri in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, she has her set of marital problems. Now, as Mona Mittal in Kkavyanjali, she seeks justice. Rupali Gangully takes on her third show, Kkavyanjali, in the role of a lawyer who takes on Kkavya?s (Eijaz Khan) case. The actress began shooting for the Balaji daily at a studio at Saki Naka yesterday. ?It?s just a few hours that I have started shooting for the show. My character is called Mona Mittal; she is the sister of Yug (Hiten Tejwani). Mona is a lawyer who is fighting for Kkavya (Eijaz Khan) in the divorce case,? says Ganguly who will be seen in the customary black robes. ?There will be several courtroom scenes as well,? she says (Source: Mid-Day).

ZEE readies higher quality output
ZEE Telefilms has entered into an agreement with IBM Global Services to develop end-to-end digital media asset management solution, with ZAMS – ZEE Asset Management Solution – to develop content integration for emerging technologies of IPTV, HDTV, Video on Mobile, Video on Demand. Punit Goenka, Director, ZEE Telefilms said, “ZEE will be the first company in India to have end-to-end technology platform for digital acquisition, development and playout of entertainment content.” He added that ZEE was also trying to reap the benefits of leveraging intellectual properties to earn additional revenues. The entire initiative will take approximately 12 months of implementation and integration at ZEE headquarters in Mumbai and broadcast center at Noida. The estimated cost of entire implementation and digitization of existing assets will be over $7 million.
