Court rejects STAR Plus to show ‘Sach Ka…2’

The Delhi High Court in India has rejected STAR Plus’ plea to show the second series of reality TV show, ‘Sach Ka Saamna’.

The show, which is the Hindi adaptation of popular US programme, ‘Moment of Truth’, was expected to launch on Indian television on 1st April.

On 27th November, the India Ministry of Information and Broadcasting had sent a notice to the broadcaster holding STAR guilty of programme code under the Cable Television Network Rules, 1994, while airing ‘Sach Ka Saamna’.

The future of the show, hosted by actor turned presenter, Rajeev Khandelwal now looks very much in doubt.
