Colour Yellow Productions announces upcoming projects

Aanand L Rai has joined forces with Anurag Kashyap, as BizAsiaLive.com reported previously. The duo will work on two movies under Colour Yellow Productions.

One of the productions will be an intense love story-musical, set in a small town. Rai will also be producing director Rahul Sankalya’s ‘Nimmo’ and also a quirky romantic-comedy titled ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan,’ which will be directed by RS Prasanna, reports Box Office India.

Rai will also get to work with director Mudassar Aziz again after their last year outing in ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ (2016). Additionally, critically acclaimed director Navdeep Singh too has been signed for a project that is currently in the scripting stage. Rai will also co-produce a film with Ajay Rai and Alan McAlex, to be directed by Geetu Mohandas, whose last film ‘Liar’s Dice’ (2013) was India’s official entry at the 87th Academy Awards.

Script writer Himanshu Sharma, who shot to fame for his work in ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ (2011) ‘Tanu Weds Manu: Returns‘ (2015) and ‘Raanjhanaa’ (2013) fame, may soon be launched as a director under Rai’s home production name.
