Colors extends ‘Naagin’ to rival Kapil Sharma’s show?

In a strategic move to counter attack competition from Sony Entertainment Television Asia’s new launch ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, Colors has reportedly extended its No.1 show ‘Naagin’ for another month.

According to SpotBoye, ‘Naagin’ was initially expected to end this month but will now remain on-air for another month. ‘Naagin’ is India’s most watched show so no doubt the channel is hoping to continue the ratings success with this extension.

‘Naagin’ is said to have been extended by four weeks. It has regularly attracted an average rating of 4.8, while ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ on Sony TV got a rating of 3 for the first two episodes. In comparison, the rival show ‘Comedy Nights’ on Colors attracted an average 1.9.

Colors is yet to confirm the developments.
