Club Asia revamps Breakfast Show – Jas returns!

After only six weeks of launching a new breakfast show with Ray C, London’s popular young Asian music station Club Asia is gearing for another change, this time the biggest yet!

The new format is being branded as a “never before seen or heard on Asian radio” show before! The ‘unique’ breakfast show called ‘Jas “The Man” and the Breakfast Clan’ will also see the return of Jas “The Man” who took leave earlier this month for “personal reasons”. Jas previously fronted the station’s Drivetime show, which is now in the controls of former BBC presenter Ray Khan.

The station, since its conception, has been at the forefront in terms of offering not only what people want, but also doing what no other Asian radio station has attempted to do. Sumerah Ahmad, Club Asia’s Programming Director tells us more, “this ‘Zoo’ style of breakfast show currently cannot be heard on Asian breakfast radio in the UK. I’m really thrilled about listening to three unique personalities doing great radio every morning….I just hope they don’t get too out of hand!”

Jas “The Man” says, “I’m really looking forward to the show and I can’t wait to start creating havoc! Remember if you snooze, you lose!!!”. Co-presenter, Amjad says, “I’m excited about this fresh new breakfast show; it’s a unique opportunity for listeners to enjoy what is essentially a family show in more ways than one!”. Sassy female co-presenter Fee J adds, “The shows going to be fantastic…..don’t worry ladies I’ll be keeping the testosterone levels in check!!”

According to the station, Ray C was contracted for only six weeks to cover while Jas was away. Recently Missy D, who fronted the breakfast show departed from the station to pursue other projects.
