Cinemas set to re-open in India with 50% seating allowance
Cinemas across India are set to re-open for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic struck in March 2020.
From Thursday 15th October, cinemas, theatres and multiplexes will be able to open with a 50% capacity as long as social distancing measures are adhered to. The news was confirmed by the Ministry Of Home Affairs.
The news was warmly welcomed by Multiplex Association of India, with a statement below on its Twitter.
