Cinemas in England set to reopen in July

Cinema chains in England are set to reopen in July, its been confirmed.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson revealed plans to permit pubs, restaurants, museums and cinemas to re-open, three months after they shut shop due to the coronavirus lockdown. As widely expected, the two-metre social distancing rule has also been cut to one metre.

However, it will be some time before Asian film titles are screened at UK cinemas, due to the lockdown in South Asian countries. While film shoots have re-commenced in India, cinemas remain closed after a rise in coronavirus infection numbers.
