Channel V to revert back to music content

With rumours surrounding the future of Channel V doing the rounds, the Star TV youth orientated service will be reverting back to its old format of music content.

Over the past month, news surfaced that Channel V will be shutting shop, with its youth fictions moving to online service, Hotstar. However, BizAsiaLive.com understands that the channel will be switching back to music playlist shows just as it did back in the 90s. Existing shows like ‘Sadda Haq’, ‘D4’, ‘Ishq Unplugged’ and ‘Mastaangi’ have all bid adieu to viewers.

Channel V will unveil its new look from Friday 1st July.
