Sony Entertainment Television’s devotional drama ‘Chalo Bulawa Aaya Hai’ has been pulled off-air unexpectedly after struggling to secure strong viewership. The series, which attempted to blend family storytelling with devotional themes, failed to connect with audiences and recorded consistently poor ratings.
Centred on the tale of young Maniki Singh Lodhi from Amba Bai village near Jhansi, the show was launched with hopes of carving a niche in the devotional drama space. Despite its distinctive premise and festive season debut, it was unable to sustain momentum or compete with rival programmes in the same slot.
