CBI registers FIR in Sushant Singh Rajput death investigation

The Sushant Singh Rajput death case has officially been handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
An FIR issued today has named Rhea Chakraborty as the first named accused, followed by five others, including her former manager, Shruti Modi, Indrajit Chakraborty, Sandhya Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda.
The CBI’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) that has been investigating the AgustaWestland scam and Vijay Mallya’s fraud case, will be the same team looking into Rajput’s case.
An official said, “After getting the notification from the government, CBI is in the process of registration of the case. We are also in touch with Bihar Police. The FIR will be uploaded soon.”
