British Muslim TV to launch in June on Sky Digital

British Muslim TV is set for launch on the Sky Digital platform next month, BizAsia can confirm.

According to the channel’s website, British Muslim TV will be aimed at showcasing the best the British Muslim community has to offer.

It states, “A new Sky channel that provides both Muslim and non-Muslim communities with news, views and insights into how British Muslims live. We will also present content from our community, for our community, with the aim to make British Muslims feel confidently Muslim and comfortably British.”

The website also features names of the shows that will broadcast on British Muslim TV including ‘Marriage Made In Britain’, ‘Talking Booth’, ‘Halal KJitchen’ and ‘British Muslim Teen Vision’.

British Muslim TV is expected to launch on Sky channel 830.
