Brit Asia TV partners up for Asian Football Awards

Brit Asia TV has announced its partnership as the TV Media Partner for the fourth annual Asian Football Awards taking place on Tuesday 14th November in London.

The Asian Football Awards aims to recognise and reward inspirational Asians from the football industry who are paving the way for future generations. The awards provide a platform for Asians to both promote their skills and share their love for the game to a wider audience.

CEO of Brit Asia TV, Tony Shergill, said, “We are thrilled to be the Official Media
Partner for The Asian Football Awards and we will be broadcasting the event exclusively on Sky 824 and via our website too. Our mission is to provide a platform for youngsters to showcase their talent and were committed to doing this in partnership with The Asian
Football Awards.”

Founder of the awards and CEO of Inventive Sports, Baljit Rihal said, “We are very pleased to have Brit Asia as our official TV partner for The 4th Asian Football Awards. It is imperative that we reach out to a targeted age group within the British Asian diaspora and by having Brit Asia on board we believe we can attain this objective.”

Rihal went on to add, “Although there has been positive movement in addressing the imbalance of Asians representation in football, there is still much more to be done. It is important that all aspects of media are utilised to spread the message of inspirational Asian role models in the industry.”

Previous attendees include; Noreen Khan, Gary Lineker, Gurinda Chadha, Ex-FA Chairman David Bernstein and former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers.
