Box Office: YRF denies ‘Sultan’ postponed to Diwali 2016

Rumours of a box office clash between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan being averted on Eid next year has been denied by Yash Raj Films.

There have been reports that Salman had decided to reschedule ‘Sultan’ to Diwali next year, giving King Khan a solo run on Eid at the box office with ‘Raees’. However, PinkVilla has quoted a source from Yash Raj Films denying this.

The source said, ���Sultan will release on Eid 2016. The shooting begins in November 2015 and wraps in March 2016. There are no plans to shift the release date.”

So with the way things stand, it will be interesting to see which Khan will pull in the most numbers at the ticket office!
