Box Office: Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Fan’ to release on Eid this year

Last week it emerged that Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film ‘Fan’ directed by Maneesh Sharma will be postponed due to some post production work, BizAsia has now learned that the film could be releasing a month later to coincide with Bakhri Eid.

DNA India reports that with Eid falling on 23rd September, ‘Fan’ could be shifted to that date. The publication adds that there is quite a lot of post-production work to be done in terms of visual effects. The team picked Bakri Eid as none of the other holiday dates were available.

‘Fan’ was initially set for release on 14th August, however, Karan Johar’s ‘Brothers’ has taken that date now.
