Box Office: ‘Sarbjit’ – ‘TE3N’ clash averted?

There was much speculation surrounding the upcoming Bollywood clash between Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘TE3N’ and his daughter-in-law Aishwarya’s film ‘Sarbjit’. Both were due to release on the same weekend but it appears the clash might now not happen.

It seems Bachchan moved the release of his film to make way for ‘Sarbjit’. A source told Box Office Capsule, “Aishwarya is very emotionally attached to this film and she gives ��Sarbjit�۪ a special place in her life. There was no way that Big B would have clashed with his own bahu. He called director Ribhu Dasgupta and producer Sujoy Ghosh and asked them if they could shift the release date. And no one can turn down Big B�۪s request. So he had his way and ��TE3N�۪s release has been pushed to a later date”.

The ‘Sarbjit’ trailer was launched last week and it seems this could also suggest the film will come before ‘TE3N’. The source added, “The ��TE3N�۪ team also wanted to unveil their theatrical trailer around the same time. Now that Ash and Co put out the ��Sarbjit�۪ trailer and there are no signs of the ��TE3N�۪ trailer coming soon, it�۪s evident that the Bachchan v/s Bachchan clash has been averted”.

‘Sarbjit’ will see Aishwarya play Dalbir Kaur, a sister who is fighting for justice for her brother Sarabjit Singh.
