Box Office: Salman Khan’s ‘Hero’ postponed?

Salman Khan’s first production ‘Hero’ was slated for release on 3rd July but now it is being said that the film will be postponed to eye a solo release.

It was announced this week that Arshad Warsi starrer ‘Guddu Rangeela’ is also set for a 3rd July release. Talking to Mid-Day, a source said, “Apart from the desire for a solo release, the makers had to work on certain other aspects. They will now take the film to the theatres only in August or September.” Director Nikhil Advani confirmed that a new date will soon be finalised.

Subhash Kapoor is overjoyed that his film ‘Guddu Rangeela’ will now be a solo release, “With so many films releasing in a year, it�۪s quite rare to get a solo release. I hope it is good for ‘Guddu Rangeela’, but I am more excited that my film is coming out soon”.

‘Hero’ will star Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty in lead roles.
