Box Office: ‘Raees’ & ‘Kaabil’ clash to be averted?

With Pakistani actors being scrutinised in Bollywood, it seems it can have a knock on effect on Shah Rukh Khan’s much delayed project ‘Raees’.

The film, which also stars Pakistani actress, Maira Khan, may get pushed back from its January release. If this happens then it will avert a clash with ‘Kaabil’, which also opens up on the same day.

Filmfare reports that the MNS order of banning actors from Bollywood, may prove financial losses for the film. The makers do not want to risk their project being affected by the tension between the two countries.

Earlier this week, IMPPA re-assured filmmakers that while Pakistani talent was being banned from future films in India, this wont affect ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, ‘Raees’ and ‘Dear Zindagi’ – all of which, star Pakistani actors.
