Box Office: ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ gets off to a flying start

Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma’s much awaited release ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ has got off to a good start at the box office in India.

Box Office India reports that the film reported an opening around 35-40% on average, with multiplexes in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Bangalore and Kolkata doing better than any other places. The opening is said to be second biggest of the year after ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’.

However, the film’s opening in parts of India is said to be much lower than Khan’s last release ‘Raees’ (2017) and ‘Tubelight’ (2017). The report adds that this is one of Khan’s lowest openers in a long time.
