Box Office: ‘Golmaal Again’ ramps up Rs. 33 crore on Day 1

Rohit Shetty’s latest release ‘Golmaal Again’ has proven an outright winner at the box office, with business of around Rs. 33 crore on its first day of release.

According to Box Office India, ‘Golmaal Again’ delivered extraordinary collections but could not be the business of ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’, which remains to have the biggest initial this year so far.

‘Golmaal Again’ has a bigger occupancy than the other Diwali release ‘Secret Superstar’, which means more screens will be added today, giving a further boost to the business of the comedy. However, the collections may dip today as it benefited from the Diwali holiday yesterday.

Meanwhile, ‘Secret Superstar’, which opened up on Thursday, saw an 80% increase on Friday, with business of around Rs. 9 crore.
