Box Office: ‘Chennai Express’ crosses Rs. 200 crores

‘Chennai Express’ has become the first Hindi release to cross Rs. 200 crore in just two weeks.

The Shah Rukh Khan – Deepika Padukone romantic comedy has been declared one of the biggest ever blockbusters in Indian cinema history and on the way to become the biggest grosser ever.

In the second week, it collected Rs 43.85 crore nett. On Friday last week, it garnered 6.50 crore, 8.51 crore on Saturday, a further 10.22 crore on Sunday, 3.80 crore on Monday, 7.06 crore on Wednesday and 3.25 crore on Thursday. It has collectively made 200.55 crore nett since its release two weeks ago.
