Box Office: ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ & ‘Stree’ avert clash

Shraddha Kapoor’s two upcoming releases ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ and ‘Stree’, which had been pitted against each other for release in August, will no longer be going head to head.

According to DNA India, the two films have averted a clash on 31st August 2018. A source said, “It doesn’t make sense to have two films of an actor coming on the same day. So, while Stree will release on August 31, BGMC will come in September, the final release date will be locked by the producers in a few days.”

‘Stree’ will still face opposition from Rishi Kapoor’s ‘Rajma Chawal’ on the same day.
