Box Office: Alia Bhatt’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ to release in September 2020

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film with Alia Bhatt ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ will hit cinemas in September 2020, its been reported.

Work for the film has been underway since Bhansali’s ‘Inshallah’ was shelved. While, Salman Khan will not be working with Bhansali, he has retained Bhatt for ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, which will be collaboration with Jayantilal Gada’s PEN India Ltd.

Taran Adarsh, trade analyst, confirmed the news. He said, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali announces his new film #GangubaiKathiawadi… Stars Alia Bhatt in title role… Also, release date finalized: 11 Sept 2020… Bhansali Productions collaborates with Jayantilal Gada’s PEN India Ltd for this film.”
