Box office movements are always happening in Bollywood as makers vow for the best release date for their films. The latest suggests that makers of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rustom’ are looking to move their film from the 12th August slot to avoid a clash with ‘Mohenjo Daro’ starring Hrithik Roshan.

A source spoke to Mid-Day, “Until recently, makers of both films were not willing to change their initial release date, but now it looks like Rustom will arrive in theatres a week before ‘Mohenjo Daro’.”

News has it that Roshan made a request to Kumar about shifting his movie’s date. A source has said that ‘Rustom’ will now release a week earlier on 5th August. “The decision was taken to avoid a situation where the business of both films would have been affected. Both films star big names and are highly anticipated; coming together on the same day would have been unwise,” added the insider.

One wonders if this change will be confirmed soon by producers Neeraj Pandey and Shital Bhatia.
