Boney Kapoor denies Akshara Haasan in Sridevi’s next

Sridevi is all set for her next film which will be produced by husband Boney Kapoor. The producer has confirmed his wife’s comeback but denied rumours that Akshara Haasan would be seen in the role as her daughter.

The film is titled ‘Mother’ and is about a stormy mother-daughter relationship. Kapoor told Mumbai Mirror, “Akshara is not in the film. Yes, it is a woman-centric drama, but not a remake of any film. It is not titled Mother”.

A source also said, “The story had been written with Sridevi in mind. Boney loved it and immediately came on board”.

Sridevi was last seen on the big screen in Gauri Shinde directed ‘English Vinglish’ in 2012.
