Bollywood Films set for closure today

It has been confirmed to Media 247 that the UK’s Indian film Pay Per View service Bollywood Films is set for closure today. The channel, which begun broadcasting earlier this year has been struggling for subscribers.

Bollywood Films was launched by Red Hot Films to fill a gap in the market but due to stiff competition from other Asian TV giants, it has had trouble to keep up with competition.

Recently Bollywood Films reduced its price from �3.50 per movie to �3.50 per day, however, this move also failed. When we approached Red Hot Films for a reason for the closure, they declined to comment but did announce that Bollywood Films will be removed from the EPG this week and today will be its final day of broadcast. Bollywood Films can be found on EPG 844 on Sky Digital.
