Bollywood celebs meet Coldplay’s Chris Martin

Bollywood celebrities have been having their fan moment with Coldplay’s Chris Martin. Martin is in Mumbai as part of the debut of Global Citizen Festival India – a festival that encouages social change across the country focussing on areas of education, equality and clean water and sanitation.

At a special dinner organised with Martin, photographs of Bollywood stars clicked with the singer have surfaced all over social media sites. In attendance was Shah Rukh Khan, Farhan Akthar, AR Rahman, Manish Malhotra, Vivek Oberoi, Shraddha Kapoor amongst a host of others. Praises for the singer were high including Oberoi who tweeted “”An amazing evening with the incredible Chris Martin of Coldplay. Great guy, using his voice for humanity.”

Martin will be joined by his fellow band members who will perform their first show in India on Saturday as part of the festival. As well as Coldplay, other international artists include The Vamps and Jay Z. From Bollywood, celebrities expected to present include Amitabh Bachchan, A R Rahman, Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif and Sonakshi Sinha.

The festival will take place on Saturday 19th November at the MMRDA grounds in Mumbai.
