B4U UK/Europe Vice President resigns

B4U’s UK/Europe Vice President Bala Iyer has quit after over three years with the organisation, BizAsia.co.uk can exclusively confirm.

Before joining B4U, Iyer was sales head at ZEE Network UK. During his tenure at B4U, Iyer was given the additional responsibilities of overlooking sales in the UAE and US.

It is believed Iyer handed his papers in last week and is expected to complete his leave until mid-November.

It is not yet unknown where he will be moving to. However market speculation is rife that Iyer could be shifting to an upcoming TV channel or starting up a project of his own.

Iyer confirmed the developments to BizAsia.co.uk but did not comment on his forthcoming plans. Keep it with BizAsia.co.uk for the newsbreak.

Earlier this month, BizAsia.co.uk confirmed management changes at ZEE Network UK/Europe. Govind Shahi, who was previously heading ZEE television business in UK/Europe and Carnival business, has been unveiled as the territory head in charge of Europe. Current CEO Subroto Bhattacharya has been named as the territory head for ZEE TV USA.
