Asian media celebrate Easter 2006
Easter is one of the key date’s in the Christian calendar celebrated today when Lord Jesus was risen. The Asian media have taken this opportunity to splash out on its biggest properties.
Club Asia
On Easter Monday one of the Club Asia presenter�۪s will be sitting on the golden egg and the Easter bunny is getting pretty upset. It needs to be found. Listeners can call into the Breakfast Show where they will get one guess ��� if they guess which presenter is sitting on the egg then they will win a prize.
PTV Prime
PTV Prime will be telecasting three special Easter programmes the first being today at 21:30. A concert featuring Pakistan�۪s most popular & famous pop stars such as Ali zafar, Abrar ul Haque and Jahanzaeb. As the name suggests Dubai Rocks was filmed in Dubai.
PTV Prime’s popular live Punjabi show Ji Aya Noo will also air Easter messages and music. Shahzada Tehseen will front the programme on Saturday at 21:30.
The final programme in PTV Prime’s kitty for Easter is especially developed for the ethnic Pakistani Christians. It will air on Easter Sunday at 21:30.
Sabras Radio
Specially recorded messages from churches across the Midlands will be aired throughout the weekend.
On Easter Sunday, Sabras will also air a two-hour Easter Special presented by Christian community leaders. Easter Special will air from 7am.
