Arjun Rampal’s ‘The Battle of Bhima Koregaon’ to commence shoot?

Before the lockdown had taken place, there was news of Arjun Rampal having already begun shooting for his upcoming period drama ‘The Battle of Bhima Koregaon’. With the lockdown rules in India beginning to relax, it seems there is talk of the shoot starting up again however, it seems makers are still trying to work out how to proceed with Covid-19 measures still in place.

The film, which is a big-budget film, was supposed to be announced soon before the coronavirus pandemic hit India. Though lockdown has now been relaxed, the question is how shooting will take place. “All the precautionary measures will have to be taken,” Deccan Chronicle reports a source stating.

The source went on to add, “Having an ambulance on the sets and other precautionary measures, as we all know, is very important. But how is all that practically possible? There are so many loopholes with regards to COVID-19 that will have to be taken care of. It is traumatising, but yet we are all hoping the shoot of the film begins soon.”

Talking about the film, the source explained, “It’s based on a real-life incident. There are a lot of leaps. We start the film on one note and it ends on another note. The transition is very cool.”

However, when asked about news there was on the female lead, it was made clear that this is still under wraps. “The female lead opposite Arjun is not a newbie, she has already pocketed a few films with some big wigs in both Bollywood and Tollywood,” the source added.
