Arjun Kapoor to embrace negative role in ‘Ek Villain’ sequel?

2014’s ‘Ek Villain’ had quite an impact on the audiences, with Riteish Deshmukh stepping into the antagonist’s role. Now that the sequel of the film seems to be on the way, it’s come about that Arjun Kapoor has apparently bagged the title role.

With Kapoor in that role, it remains to be seen who will take up the main actor’s part. A source told Asian Age, “Ekta Kapoor wants to turn Ek Villain into her production house’s Dhoom franchise. The question here is: Who will play the formal hero when the villain has the author-backed role?”

Mohit Suri will be returning as director for the second part but confirmation of the cast is yet to come.
