It seems producers have the final say about soundtracks and who will sing each song. It seems the latest film where a singer has been replaced is Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Rustom’ in which Arijit Singh has replaced Papon.
A source close to Papon confirmed to Spotboye, “He recorded the song, but the producers suddenly felt that his voice does not suit Akshay.�� They then roped in Arijit Singh. When Papon got to know about it, he was extremely upset.”
The film is slated for release on 12th August and also stars Esha Gupta, Ileana D’Cruz and Arjan Bajwa.
