Apoorva Lakhia “prepped” Shraddha Kapoor for two years for ‘Haseena Parkar’

Shraddha Kapoor has opened up about the amount of preparation that went into the role she plays as ‘Haseena Parkar’ in the upcoming biopic.

Talking to Hindustan Times, Kapoor said, “Primarily it was the story which convinced me to do this film as it was very emotional. Being the sister of the most wanted person, Haseena has gone through a lot and so it became very challenging for me as an actor to portray her character onscreen.”

Praising filmmaker Apoorva Lakhia, Kapoor said, “He prepped for the film for about 2 years and also spent time with Haseena Parkar and that in itself was helpful for all of us because he was too close to film and her story.”
