Anushka Sharma upset with ‘Bombay Velvet’ team?

The first song of Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Bombay Velvet’ was all set to be launched at an event yesterday. ��However, there was a last minute cancellation on the plan, which��the film’s publicist claimed was due to actress Anushka Sharma’s absence at the event.

Denying��this to��Mumbai Mirror, Sharma’s spokesperson said, “There is no question of an event being cancelled due to her absence when she was never supposed to be there int he first place. ��We are shocked to hear that this is the reward she gets for her professionalism.”

The actress and her team are apparently upset at her professionalism being questioned, as she they��informed the film’s promotional team much in advance that she would be on a break.

‘Bombay Velvet’ stars Ranbir Kapoor opposite Sharma and marks the acting debut of filmmaker Karan Johar. ��The film is slated to release on 15th May.
