Anushka Sharma opposite Ranveer Singh in Zoya Akhtar’s next

Zoya Akhtar was unable to finalise her dream cast for her next film which will now see Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra as siblings. However, she has managed to cast Anushka Sharma as female lead opposite Singh.

Singh and Sharma were said to have been in a relationship which ended on bad terms so to see them share the screen again will be quite something. The two have been seen together in Singh’s first two movies in which audiences took a liking to their pairing.

Singh is currently hospitalised with dengue whereas Sharma is busy shooting for her forthcoming projects including ‘Peekay’ opposite Aamir Khan and ‘Bombay Velvet’ which sees her opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
