Anushka Sharma on working with Salman Khan

After much speculation regarding who Salman Khan’s leading lady in ‘Sultan’ would be, it was recently announced that Anushka Sharma has officially been signed on.�� The actress has now gone on record to speak about working with Khan and about her role in the film.

BollywoodLife quote Sharma as having said at a recent event, “I am thrilled and excited to work with Salman Khan, I think there is no one like him because of his persona. The film is something I am really excited about and I am more excited about my role and all in all, it is something I am waiting to dig my teeth into.”

Interestingly, Sharma had previously taken to her social networking account to deny that she was doing the film.�� However, she now says she does not want to dwell on the past by commenting on that.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Yash Raj Films, ‘Sultan’ is slated for an Eid 2016 release.
