Anushka Sharma denies signing ��Bombay Velvet�۪

While the grapevine has been abuzz about Anushka Sharma being part of Anurag Kashyap�۪s ambitious ��Bombay Velvet�۪, the actress in a recent interview has denied officially signing the project as of yet.

���Anushka Sharma, it is,�۝ said Kashyap when tabloid Mid Day contacted him.

However, when Sharma was asked about the film she simply stated, ���I haven�۪t signed the project yet. It is still pending. So I can�۪t comment on it until I sign the film.�۝

Someone seems to have got their wires crossed somewhere then, but Sharma�۪s pairing with Ranbir Kapoor (he�۪s the lead in the film) was one that we were really looking forward to.

Whether she features in ��Bombay Velvet�۪ or not remains to be seen, but the films Sharma will definitely be seen in are ‘Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola’ (with Imran Khan) and Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘P.K’ (with Aamir Khan) both of which will release next year.
