Anushka Sharma becomes action-woman for ‘NH10’

As more and more actors decided to do their own stunts, it seems the ladies want in on the fun too. According to reports, actress Anushka Sharma will be performing some of her own stunts in her forthcoming release ‘NH10’.

Set to also debut in the producing field, Sharma has urged the makers to let do her own action sequences. Talking to the media,��Hindustan Times reported a source revealing, “There was a rock climbing scene to be shot recently, and a body double had been called. But Anushka insisted on doing the scene herself.”

The went onto add, “Being an army kid, Anushka loves challenges. She also trained and practiced to be able to enact some hand-to-hand combat scenes.”

With Navdeep Singh sitting in the directors chair, Sharma will be co-producing the film with��Vikramaditya Motwane, who went onto to talk about the film, “It’s a gritty �_thriller, so the action is very real. We felt a body double is better trained to do such stunts, but Anushka wanted to do them herself. So we roped in trainer to oversee the shoot.”

Also starring ‘Dvid’ (2013) actor Neil Bhoopalam, ‘NH10’ is set to hit the silver screens on 6th March.
