Anupam Kher questions Aamir Khan on intolerance debate in India

At a recent event, actor-turned-filmmaker Aamir Khan, spoke to the media about his thoughts on the debate about the intolerance in India. He went onto to say how it’s affected his wife who was considering moving to another country. However, it seems some feel she has nothing to worry about, including Anupam Kher.

Hindustan Times reported Khan stating, “When I chat with Kiran at home, she says ��Should we move out of India?�۪ That�۪s a disastrous and big statement for Kiran to make. She fears for her child. She fears about what the atmosphere around us will be. She feels scared to open the newspapers every day.”

Hearing about this, Kher took to social media site Twitter and expressed how this is something the people of the country should stand up to. “Dear @aamir_Khan. Did you ask Kiran which country would she like to move out to? Did you tell her that this country has made you AAMIR KHAN.” He tweeted.

He went onto add, “Dear @aamir_Khan. Did you tell Kiran that you have lived through more worse times in this country & but you never thought of moving out.”

Not being a regular on social media sites, Khan has yet to reply to Kher’s tweets.
