Anila Dhami joins BBC Asian Network

Former ZEE TV UK presenter, Anila Dhami has joined the BBC Asian Network.

It was confirmed today that Dhami will front the station’s discussion show for the next two weeks. Dhami is one of the cover presenters since Nihal stepped down from the popular weekday show. Dhami was one of the hosts for the London based show ‘ZEE Companion’ but left to focus on more a more political role in journalism.

Dhami took to her Twitter this morning to share the news:

Nihal presented his final show on 29th July. He will return to the station in September to present the show on Fridays only. He joins sister station, BBC Radio 5 Live for its new daily afternoon show.

Dhami will share the slot with other regular cover presenter, Sheetal Parmar until a permanent presenter has been announced.
