Anil Kapoor surprises nephew Arjun at ‘Mubarakan’ mahurat

With the shooting schedule of Arjun and Anil Kapoor’s ‘Mubarakan’ finally commencing in Chandigarh the cast and crew who are required on the first schedule celebrated its mahurat the dad before it’s first day. However, despite Anil Kapoor not being scheduled until later on, he paid his nephew a surprise visit for the special day.

Talking to the media, Mumbai Mirror reports the senior actor expressing, “It’s a very emotional moment for me as this is the first time I am working with Arjun and I wanted to be by his side on the mahurat day. He was quite surprised when I entered his room.”

“He will start shooting from Thursday while I will join them in January for a song sequence in Mumbai and will head to London by the month-end to shoot other portions,” he went on to add.

The film is based around a big Punjabi wedding, which is said to include lots of comedy and family fun. It has also been revealed that Junior Kapoor will be seen playing a double role again. Set to release next year, the film will also be shot across the UK.
