Anil Kapoor & Sridevi lead B-town’s 2013 Padma award nominations

This year’s Padma nominations have been revealed and amongst the Bollywood celebrities are Anil Kapoor, Sridevi, Sharmila Tagore and Jaya Prada.

The awards are given to those who have particularly excelled in their industries over the year. Industrialist and film producer T Subbarami Reddy nominated both Kapoor and Sridevi for their contribution to art and cinema whereas Tagore was nominated by the National School of Drama for her contribution to art and cinema too.

Prada has received a nomination for her contribution to Indian cinema by Amar Singh, Rajya Sabha member.
