Anil Kapoor says Ranveer Singh would be ideal for ‘Ram Lakhan’

Anil Kapoor and Ranveer Singh have always shared a good rapport, and their bond post ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ (2015) seems to have become stronger and more entertaining for an onlooker. With talks of the remake of ‘Ram Lakhan’ (1989), Kapoor has said Singh would make an ideal Lakhan- the character originally essayed by him.

According to Mumbai Mirror, Kapoor said, “I am hearing about the remake for the last three and a half years. I think they are still making it”.

Talking about awards, the actor went on to say, “I had thought that I should’ve got an award for Ishwar, Ram Lakhan, because people’d say back then that popular films should be awarded. Even for Lamhe I didn’t get many important awards”.

There have been rumours surrounding Singh’s involvement in the remake. An official announcement should be forthcoming some time soon.
