Ananya Panday to star opposite Vijay Deverakonda in his Bollywood debut?

Ananya Panday has reportedly beaten Janhvi Kapoor to bag the lead role opposite Vijay Deverakonda in his Bollywood debut, ‘Fighter’.

The newcomer, who launched her career with ‘Student Of The Year 2’ last year, had success in December with ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’. She will next be seen in ‘Khaali Peeli’ along with Ishaan Khatter.

Mumbai Mirror reports that Panday has been finalised with Deverakonda in the martial-arts heavy action film. Deverakonda started shooting for the film in January and Panday is expected to join the cast in March.

A source told the publication, “Ananya is eager to work with Vijay and is expected to start shooting mid-March or in the first week of April.”
