Amrita Singh denies daughter Sara in Zoya Akhtar’s next

Amrita Singh has denied reports that her daughter Sara Ali Khan will be making a debut in Zoya Akhtar’s next ‘Gully Boy’.

Speculation has been rife over Sara’s launch film and reports earlier this week suggested that the newcomer would star opposite Ranveer Singh in the film.

Singh was cited in DNA India saying, “This is just not true.”

A source said, “There is nothing final about Zoya’s next. To speculate that Sara is a part of the film is very mischievous at this juncture. Sara’s dad Saif is very close to Zoya’s brother Farhan. If Sara wants to be in a film produced by Excel Entertainment (Farhan’s company) all Saif or Amrita have to do is ask.”
