Amitabh Bachchan visits Aishwarya’s father in hospital

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father, Krishnaraj Rai, has been in the hospital for almost a month now and recently her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan visited Mumbai’s Lilavati hospital to check on him.

Aishwarya’s husband, Abhishek Bachchan, was also seen by her side during this tough phase. Her father is admitted in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital. After being hospitalised for almost a month he was moved to the ICU on Tuesday. The news about her father being admitted to the hospital originally broke out in January, following which Aishwarya and Abhishek had to cut short their Dubai trip to ensure they are present with him, reports the Hindustan Times.

According to reports, Rai’s condition is critical and he is on a ventilator. He has undergone treatment for cancer in the past and is now reported to be suffering from a relapse.
