Alia Bhatt to star with Arjun Kapoor in ‘2 States’?

Newcomer Alia Bhatt has bagged herself another plum project with Karan Johar. The actress who makes her debut in ‘Student Of The Year’ later this month, is firm favourite to star opposite Arjun Kapoor in ‘2 States’.

A source told Times Of India, “KJo will make an official announcement about Alia being in 2 States only after SOTY hits theatres. She seems to be a bundle of talent. Which is why KJo is backing her.”

‘2 States’ is a co-production between Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala and is based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel. It’s a story of a north Indian boy falling for a south Indian girl and how their respective cultures influence their lives together.
